About this experience

Our baths sit on the eastern shore of Lake Mývatn, in a lava field that still breathes steam. The twilight session is the one we are proudest of: the day visitors are gone, the light turns blue, and the only sounds are water and birds. Entry includes towels, a guided introduction to the water (it is unusually rich in silica and sulphur — your skin will notice), and warm drinks on the deck. In winter this is one of the most reliable northern-lights bathing spots in the country.
