Doctors, certified instructors, physical therapists, personal trainers, nutritionists, psychologists, and other wellness professionals will hold educational talks and provide resources for you to use when you return.

In this 90-minute nutritional class, you will learn about the importance of a balanced and healthy diet. It’s a common misconception that this means you will be starving yourself, but nothing could be further from the truth. Your body requires just the right amount of fuel (and the right fuel) to help it burn calories. With your expert nutritional coach, you will address any problems you may have and work out a plan for when you return home. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how to manage your diet and discover healthier ways to eat.

In this 90-minute health workshop, a wellness coach will take a holistic approach to your health and wellbeing. If you wish, it can be a one-to-one session which will look at all the health problems you may have and ways that these can be solved. You will work to reach your goals in areas such as optimal weight and walk away with techniques you can use to reduce food cravings, increase sleep and maximize your daily energy.

Fitness classes and workshops are going to be an important part of your Well Iceland tour. Moving the body is essential to improving both your physical and mental health, and we believe there is a type of movement that works for each individual. Our certified trainers will work with you to execute the right forms of exercise for your fitness goals which may include cardio training, increased strength or restorative practices. This will help you discover which type of fitness works for you, and take back tools and resources so you will be better equipped when you return home.

Working out in water maximizes weight loss and muscle strength with the minimal amount of energy. During daily aquatic workshops, you can improve stamina, strength, suppleness and increase cardiovascular fitness Unlike aerobics on land Aqua Fit is low-impact and the cushioning effect of the water protects joints in the spine, ankle, hip and knees. It is suitable for people of all ages and abilities as participants can work at a variety of levels by increasing effort and using water resistance equipment.

Don’t worry if you have never practiced yoga before, your expert teacher will help you to learn the techniques you can use when you return home.
